50+ years providing cleanrooms

Valcon Engineering and an East Coast-based Cleanroom and Equipment Manufacturer partnered to provide complementary services and products to new and existing customers. The Partner has been providing services to the following industries for over 50 years:


  • Medical Devices
  • Aerospace
  • Biotechnology
  • Life Sciences
  • Electronics & Technology


With a core competency in manufacturing, the Partner had never expanded offerings to include services around cleanroom cleaning, maintenance, certification, validation, or project management. 


The Partner was interested in partnering with Valcon Engineering after realizing that past customers had inquired about services like validation documentation or cleanroom cleaning - however, those were. unavailable services. 


The unavailable services resulted in the Partner missing potential upselling and cross-selling revenue. 

A changing industry...

Customer requirements and expectations for the construction, management, and maintenance of cleanrooms have changed significantly over the past decades. With new ISO14644:2015 standards being constantly introduced, Customer Project Teams are starting to search for service providers who deeply understand the industry and can manage cleanrooms to industry standards.


When a Customer evaluates vendors for a new cleanroom project, Customers are expecting to engage with a manufacturer that can install, qualify, validate, and certify the cleanrooms enabling the Customer immediate access and use upon completion. 


Valcon Engineering has developed a turnkey solution for Cleanroom Manufacturers with services including: 

  • Primary: Cleanroom Cleaning & Maintenance Services
  • Secondary: Cleanroom Management & Certifications, Validation & Protocol Development Services, Cleanroom & Engineering Project Management

Partner onboarding & enablement timeline

The Cleanroom Manufacturing Partner was ready to begin expanding services within the first couple of weeks. After the initial sales training and marketing updates to sales materials and websites, the Partner was fully prepared and operational.

Month 1 - Month 2

Partner Onboarding and Enablement formal kickoff.


Valcon Engineering provided Cleanroom Manufacturing Partner with marketing collateral, sales scripts, pricing information, and training material. 


The goal is for the Partner Sales Team to learn about the new services at a high-level. Valcon Engineering will be involved in a prospective customer deal if interested.


Cleanroom Manufacturing Partner's digital marketing is updated to include new service offerings.

Month 3 - Month 6

Cleanroom Manufacturing Partner begins to prospect customers for new services. Valcon Engineering dedicates a Sales Team Member to work closely with the Partner to quickly resolve any inquiries or questions. 


Any communication between Valcon Engineering and the Prospective Customer will have the Partner included. 


Manufacturing Partner closed 18 new opportunities within the initial 6-months (with the inclusion of Valcon Engineering services) totaling over $50,000 in Partner commission revenue. 


A portion of the new contracts also included recurring revenue opportunities, that the Cleanroom Manufacturing Partner was not able to achieve prior.

Results-driven partnership

The Cleanroom Manufacturing Partner was ecstatic about the results and the new services the company was able to offer to customers. This Partnership with Valcon Engineering enabled the Cleanroom Manufacturing Partner to continue providing their key service in addition to a full turnkey solution. 


The Cleanroom Manufacturing Partner has since renewed a partnership with Valcon Engineering for 3+ years and will continue to be one collaborative partner to further expand and refine new services.
